Responsibilites:
Provide an educated assessment
Offer an educated, experienced, and effective treatment
Recommend treatment plans along with offering homecare suggestions
Understands the value of working in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals
Maintain professional standards in client record keeping
Be an expert in customer service and always provide a hospitable experience to every client
Adhere to the regulatory body’s set of ethics and standards at all times
Be driven to increasing their client base and possibility already have a loyal client base to bring with them.
A passion for sports and sports rehabilitation
We are extremely committed to our client’s needs and expectations
Are PROFESSIONAL and engage with team members and community events
Work full time with an Elite Hockey team (home/away games), other possible team sports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of clinic and field experience;
Professional designation of CAT(C), or Provisional Certification;
Member in good standing with the Canadian Athletic Therapists’ Association;
Current First Aid, First Responder, AED and CPR certifications;
CSCS or CEP certification an asset, but not required;
Proven ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities under pressure;
Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary allied health team environment;
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and communicate with athletes, coaches, Athletic Therapists, administrative personnel and other health care team members to meet the overall needs of athletes and their return to play;
Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to deal sensitively with individuals;
Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and possible weekends;
Proven supervisory skills;
Valid CRC.

We are a fast growing clinic with Athletic Therapy and Massage Therapy provided. We are seeking a self-motivated, professional, knowledgeable, interactive and friendly Athletic Therapist to join our team.
Our clientele is varied but we do see a lot of athletes, so a strong knowledge of assessment, long term treatment plans, and home-care is a must. We take an active role in our community, supporting local events (Titanium Half Marathon, Bike for Breakfast and many other future events).
